I received my Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education from Florida State University in 1989. Shortly thereafter, I married a military man and I spent the next 20 years living - and teaching - in several places around the country - and Germany! We moved to Harvest in 2005 and I began teaching gifted students in Madison County schools in 2006. In 2008, I received my Master's Degree in Gifted Services from the University of South Alabama. My husband, Scott, is now retired and we are enjoying the fact that we no longer have to move!
All three of our children have been a part of the Madison County Schools family. Our daughter Brooke is a Sparkman High graduate and also a University of Alabama graduate. She resides in Birmingham. We have another daughter who graduated from Sparkman in 2016 and attends Florida State University. Our son currently attends Sparkman High.
Teaching gifted students is my passion! My goal is simply to help students achieve
goals - in the classroom and in life!
