My name is Debbie Arnsparger, and I welcome you to 1st grade. I graduated from the University of Alabama in Huntsville in 1990 with a BS degree in Elementary Education. I taught Third Grade at Mt. Gap Elementary School for 5 years. After my first child was born, I stayed home with my children for 8 years. I returned to teaching in 2004. During my first year at Monrovia Elementary School, I taught 3rd and 4th grade gifted classes. I have taught 1st grade for the past ten years and am looking forward to being in 2nd grade now!
My husband, David Arnsparger, is a high school Social Studies teacher and football coach. Together we have five children. The oldest is 21, and the youngest is 15. I love hiking, traveling, and spending time with my family. I love to teach children. My goal for the children I teach is to help them gain a love for learning that will continue through their lifetime.
