My name is Erin Wilson and I am excited to be your First Grade teacher this year!
This will be my 12th year in Madison County Schools as an educator. I taught first grade for six years at Monrovia Elementary and Legacy before accepting a position as a school counselor for grades 7 and 8 at Monrovia Middle School. I was a middle school counselor for five years before deciding to return back to my "home" here at Legacy. I earned my Associate's Degree at Calhoun College in Elementary Education, my Bachelor's Degree from Athens State University in Elementary Education, and my Master's Degree in School Counseling from The University of West Alabama.
My husband Matt and I have been married for 11 years and have two wonderful daughters. Avery is 7 and Mollie Kate is 2. In my spare time I love to read, go for a run, travel, and spend time with family and friends.
I am very passionate about teaching and helping students learn and grow socially and academically. I look forward to working with you and your family this year!
