My name is Mary Beth Woodall, and I am the intervention teacher at Legacy. I graduated from Athens State University with a BS degree in Elementary Education. I received my Masters Degree from Alabama A&M. I am now entering my seventeenth year in education. I taught fifteen years in first and third grades, and this is my second year as an intervention teacher. This is my first year at Legacy, and I am so excited to be here! It is truly an amazing school!
My husband, Joseph, and I live in Athens, Alabama. We have a son, Luke, who is one year old. I am a big Alabama fan....RollTide!! I also love singing, playing guitar, spending time with family, and being outdoors. My goal as an intervention teacher is to help students gain the confidence, knowledge, and skills that they need to be the best versions of themselves as possible. I believe it is my responsibility to ensure high levels of learning for all students. I have always loved working with children, and I consider it an honor to be given the opportunity to do so!
